Mr. Longo’s practice focuses on both litigation and transactional matters, including real estate transactions, complex business disputes, corporate structuring and guidance, and construction-related litigation. Mr. Longo has handled over two hundred and fifty million dollars’ worth of real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases of commercial, residential, and industrial properties. Mr. Longo has litigated cases in both State and Federal Courts throughout the United States, and has obtained multiple multi-million dollar judgments for his clients. Mr. Longo previously had extensive experience litigating cases in the areas of Mass Torts and complex Products Liability/Personal Injury at one of the preeminent mass tort litigation firms in the United States.
Mr. Longo also serves as an advisor to various cryptocurrency projects, ensuring his clients are in compliance with State and Federal Securities Laws, as well as assisting his clients with navigating cryptocurrency exchanges and platforms, assisting in disputes with cryptocurrency exchanges, and advising on off-shore corporate formation. Mr. Longo also has worked with companies on their Initial Coin Offerings, and prepared various partnership and corporate agreements.
Mr. Longo attended the University of Connecticut, where he graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the UConn School of Business. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Longo honed his research and writing skills while working as a Featured Columnist for a major online sports publication. After completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Longo attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship award winner. Mr. Longo also successfully completed the UM Litigation Skills Program. Further, Mr. Longo accomplished the feat of winning the 2014 USIBA Collegiate Boxing Light Heavyweight National Championship while completing his legal studies.
Mr. Longo is admitted to the Florida Bar and is also licensed to practice in Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida. He lives and works in Miami, Florida. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, and the National Italian American Bar Association.
