Mr. Vazquez has over twenty-five years’ experience advising entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, and family offices from the United States, Latin America, Caribbean and Europe. His practice focuses on the resolution of complex situations and disputes; which include structuring investment vehicles and platforms, formation of U.S., offshore and foreign business entities, strategic alliances, commercial transactions, and commercial and residential real estate transactions.
Mr. Vazquez also represents clients in litigation and arbitration of international and domestic disputes in various state and federal forums. This includes representation before arbitration panels of the International Chamber of Commerce, International Center for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association, and the Swiss Chamber’s Arbitration Institution.
Mr. Vazquez also gained a substantial amount of experience in niche practice areas, such as the registration of foreign operated U.S. registered aircraft and obtaining FAA approval, U.S. import/export control regulations and compliance with International Trafficking in Arms Regulations, international trade and shipping practices, and purchase and finance of agriculture commodities.
Prior to earning his law degree in 1993, Mr. Vazquez worked in earth moving and mining machinery sector – providing machinery such as Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, and Komatsu to international business entities.
Mr. Vazquez was born and raised in Miami, Florida but spent many years living abroad in both South America and Europe. He has also been a FAA licensed pilot for over 30 years, giving him additional experience and knowledge regarding aviation law issues.
